Since its founding, the Physical Education Office has been headed up by Pao, Shu-Hsia, Wu, Li-Wu, Ceng, Hsu-Chang, Cheng, Huan-Tao, Liu, Meng-Chiu, Yang, Jui-Lien, Sun, Mei-Lien, Sung, Fang-Fei, Huang, Han-Nien, Wang, San-Tsai Ting, Tsui-Ling, and Huang, Yuh-Chuan. The current director of Physical Education Office is Associate Professor Cheng, San-Chuan. Currently, there are 19 full-time faculty and staff members in Physical Education Office, comprised of 4 professors, 9 associate professors, 2 assistant professors, 1 Project Assistant Professor, 2 instructors ; another 5 part-time faculty members comprising1 assistant professors, and 4 instructors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To enhance faculty members\u2019 professional knowledge, promote academic research and improve teaching performance in the physical education field, Physical Education Office holds a variety of sports education and physical education academic seminars, updates its course outlines, tests physical fitness (sports) capacities according to standard rubrics every semester. In addition, Physical Education Office works non-stop on improving teacher quality and encouraging faculty members to participate in physical education academic seminars, visiting tours, workshops for coaches, workshops for umpires, workshops on sports injuries at home and aboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
