From the founding of MCU, education here has concentrated on both humanities and technology. The University puts equal emphasis on developing the various aspects of education: morals, knowledge, physical well-being, civics, and aesthetics. Ming Chuan not only strictly carries out the directives issued from the Ministry of Education, but also makes great efforts in developing students\u2019 physical well-being. Over the past fifty years,MCU Office of Physical Education has worked very hard and successfully established a comprehensive organization and mechanism.   In this regard, the Office of Physical Education strives to fulfill the following education objectives for MCU students:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  1. Teaching sport skills and knowledge to develop physical activity. <\/li>
  2. Cultivate sports moral literacy and promote harmonious interpersonal relationships. <\/li>
  3. Enhance the spirit of unremitting efforts and enhance teamwork. <\/li>
  4. Inspire sports interests and develop participation skills. <\/li>
  5. Strengthen physical fitness and promote balanced development of mind and body. <\/li>
  6. Promote regular exercise and develop lifelong exercise habits.<\/li><\/ol>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

    MCU school teams have always been supported and cheered on by MCU Founder Pao, Teh-Ming, President Lee, Chuan and President Shen, Pei-Di . Student athletes and coaches work together flawlessly; thus the teams have participated in many national contests and have been honored with numerous awards. Since 2000-2001AY, MCU has independently recruited students who have outstanding performances in physical education programs. Each year, around 1 million NTD is budgeted to cultivate more student athletes who can represent our institution and our nation to compete in various national contests and compete for sporting glory. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
